Laurie and Alan

I have been having awesome weather for my engagement shoots this year, today was no exception! Another gorgeous day in Central Park - it was really hard having to come back to the studio. Meet Laurie and Alan, it was great chatting about your exciting wedding plans this afternoon! More on that later....

A little history...

Well if I am going to continue to post photos about Central Park and how much I love this place I figured I would share a little history. OK - so most of you know that the park was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead, but did you know Hernshead (where Rachel and Matt were married) was so named because it was thought to resemble a Heron?

Or, that the Bow Bridge was named for its resemblance to an archer's bow. Here are a few more photos from Rachel and Matt's wedding.

Rachel and Matt

The skies cleared up and the winds stopped just in time for a beautiful wedding in Central Park. Hernshead is an amazing place in the park, if you have never been there, it's a must see! Check back later for more...

More from Ali and Matt

During the year I always love to schedule Bridal shoots like this one with Ali and Matt. This also gives me the opportunity to try out new locations for engagement shoots. The Wall street area is amazing with its maze of winding cobblestone streets.

Ali and Matt run a theatre company in Brooklyn - Theatre of mass destruction gives young, emerging artists the opportunity to use their creative passions in a multitude of disciplines. They support and produce all facets of the arts, including theatre, music, dance, film, photography, and other visual art.

I also want to thank Amy at Seaport Flowers for sending us this beautiful bouquet. Many of my Brides and Grooms have been very happy with her work, including Elyse and Anthony who cannot say enough about them.

Here are few more shots from Tuesday's shoot - thanks everyone, let's do it again soon!
